I saw the coolest technique for emptying a truck or trailer at the dump. Throw a chain around a pallet and toss it in the front, on the floor, with the chain hanging out the back. Load the waste in normally. When you get to the dump, hook the chain onto the dump's loader and drive forward until it pulls everything out (or loader back it out). Retrieve chain and maybe the pallet.
I do something similar when unpacking the case of beer into the fridge. I open one end, slide the open end all the way to the back of the fridge, open the other end, put my hand there and pull the case out, leaving just the cans of beer there.
