I believe you're overly concerned - should be fine. In fact I thing putting grease in the labyrinth dust cap channels is overkill. It takes a rather small amount of oil to keep SA hubs operating well for years - no decades. I've never had a problem with oil leaking out, and I overhauled scores of SA hubs over the years.
