Ha! The first thing I thought of when I saw it was a green Mondonico with Thron tubing was "My God, could that be one of the original test bikes from that old article?" I wonder where they all are now?

To answer the OP's question, even as a mid-level bike, the builder, tubing and components make it a classic in my book.
