Dawes

Hi i just picked up this frame and forks. It appears to be very good quality. I would like to date it if possible.
The brazed on top of bb cable guides and recessed brake bolts are throwing me off a bit. It has Dawes decal
but i don't think they mean a lot.
Tange dropouts and on the drive side dropout the chain stay and seat stay are flattened for better clearance.
Shimano bb 1.37x34t 27.2 mm seat post and shimano sis dt shifters don't fit.
One bottle cage on down tube ,no pump holder and i would have thought it would have originally had sew ups
but i would need long reach brakes so it must have had 27 in wheels.
Where have all the good quality 27 in wheels gone? I come across vintage sew ups all the time.
Any info would be nice.
I intend to build it up as a nice around town bike probably flat bars.
Scrub that about the shimano shifters they do fit i was using band on shifters to check, being lazy.
I can't seem to upload any more photos
