A lot of my neighbors hang out on their 'front porch'. I live in an apt complex so it's actually decks. One in particular next to the front entrance several of the neighbors congregate. This is a friendly group hangout with grilling, chatting, and dogs playing fetch kind of atmosphere not a we're going to kill you if you look at us or let's get drunk and yell at each other atmosphere in case anyone is wondering.
