Actually, that might be a good next step since the MMR people haven't fixed the problem. Maybe they need some financial incentive.
We all know users don't count, except as data to sell to advertisers. Advertisers are what really count on teh interwebz. If you complain to an advertiser, saying it reflects poorly on their brand, they might actually get MMR off their asses.
