The dilemma now is if I want to go through the effort to swap touring specific bits from my 87 to this frame. I'd probably like to start with a fresh finish on the frame. Can you powder coat over chrome? It would be nice to keep some of the chrome so maybe paint would be a better solution.

I don't think I've seen pix of the 87 since you've refinished it.
