It's not a horrible color, it's just that we are on the far back end of the "murdered out" look. I bought an equally "stealthy" bike after telling myself I wouldn't buy one because it was boring, but the bike I ended up with does have a splash of silver with the lovely DA9000 group on it. Also, the pictures provided are of middling quality from a cell phone just after the guy got his bike together, so the really nice finish and subtleties of the paint scheme can't really be seen. It's a good looking bike in person, I'm sure.
