Levelling the Ronin is a pain too. The nice thing about curved saddles is that they are more forgiving if you are a tad nose down. When I first started consciously rotation my pelvis, it felt like excessive nose pressure. But it never seemed to be issue for discomfort or problems. My saddles also all have the "relief" channel.
If you are locking your elbows, that is bad. Are you doing it to get a straighter wrist, or do you feel like you will cal forward if you don't? If you are rotating your pelvis, usually the difference between bent elbows and locked is very slight. You just lean slightly farther forward.
And this is where I entered this thread with saying you have to have weight on your feet. The force of pedalling, along with core strength, is what makes that lean comfortable.
If you want to, snap a photo of your drop bars from the side. You may have your shifters slid too far down the bar, which complicates things as well.
