I talked to an LBS who fit a professional basketball player (6'7" or something) on a Cannondale with a 66 cm frame. They're very good about switching out stems, seats, etc. for a good fit. I think it can be done, but I didn't think to ask them if they'd have to build the bike around the 66 cm frame. Cannondale seems to be the bike that most people suggest for us lanky folk.
