Fudgy - FWIW, my 500 has yet to eat a ride in the three years I've had it. Might be time to downgrade.
I can't wait to ditch my edge 500 in about a month for a pc7. It will take a lot for me to ever buy a garmin product again. Their heart rate straps also suck.
