That's great, because it should make the frame a lot lighter w/o affecting its strength or stiffness. Still, I find it curious that there is no mention of this significant upgrade on the Pake website >>> PAKE | Product Detail > Rum Runner Steel Track Frame

Almost all tubing is internally butted, so there is no visible sign that the tubing is butted. I'm guessing that the tubing grade is similar to Tange Infinity, which is on a par with 4130 chromoly. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable like Scrod can shed more light on this.
