Yup... that's what I did. My Domane 5.2 is a dedicated road machine... too pretty to booger-it-up with all sorts of accessories. I also have a Trek ION (pre-Crocket) that is my trail bike. Quite frankly, if I could only have one bike, it'd be the ION because it can go just about anywhere and is very comfy with the Bontrager CX0 700x34mm tires. It's not quite as fast as my Domane, but then again, I don't race so "fast" is all in my head anyway. My wife has a Crocket and I like it as well... especially because it has internally routed cables which my ION doesn't.
