Bikes: Volagi Viaje (rando/gravel/tour), Cannondale Slice 4 (tri/TT), Motobecane Fantom PLUS X9 (plus tires MTB)

2 Choices Commuter/Tourer

Right now my primary use is commuting but I plan to do more touring in the future.
I often pull a trailer with cargoes of various kinds and would probably tour this way too.
Right now I am using an older Fisher hybrid for these uses but would like to upgrade.

The contenders:
Salsa Vaya II
Vaya 2 | Bikes | Salsa Cycles
BikesDirect Fantom Ti Cross Bike
Save Up to 60% Off Titanium Cyclocross Bicycles | Road Bikes - Motobecane Fantom Cross Team Titanium | Cross Bikes

Vaya advantages:
I like my LBS and they give me good service
Maybe just ignorance but I am hard on wheels and believe these wheels might more durable for hard use
3 ring crank set with lower granny gear
more relaxed geometry probably better suited for my preference and for longer rides
I have ridden this bike and I know I agree with the saddle, bars, and shifters (though it made me want a shorter stem)

Fantom advantages:
Like that Ti frame
$300 cheaper

Actually, I think the exercise of writing this post has made my mind up for me already.
But still interested if anyone notes any advantages or disadvantages that I have not mentioned.
