Last time I rode around town I did it in a dress and that was fine and very comfortable but I was ultra-aware that if I went down there'd be very little protecting areas that might need it. A dress over shorts would probably be good and might even bring back some good memories of the 80s. I tried jeans and cargo pants and they're not going to work for me especially when/if it rains. I refuse to start a new thread about it so it's just a matter of doing research then actually going in, trying some on and plunking down the cash.
