I always warn people not to go too far down along the face of the tooth, just seems like many who try this tend to over-do the cut. Your picture looks proper though as far as the angle!!!

The bevel should only be about 2mm long, about 1/4 of the height of the tooth. A "deeper" cut can always be done later if absolutely needed.

I've done this successfully with the freewheel still on the bike in 2-3 minutes, using a Dremel with a 3/8" diameter stone wheel (green style cuts best and lasts through several sprocket repairs).

I can't wait to hear how much better that sprocket may work now.

I dig these old Mondias, well worth the effort to dial them in imo.
