I bought it on the heels of two new helmets, both bought when Performance blew out their Livestrong Giro's. Both of those were $200+ helmets for 89.99 on the clearance table. I ended up selling one and keeping the CF version for a backup.
The Air Attack has webbing inside, so you don't get that creepy foam-head contact. Air flows through those surprisingly small vents and you can feel it run over your scalp. Much cooler than any helmet I've had. My glasses do not fog up inside that shield, and I bought the clear shield to go with it, which is also a Carl Zeiss and has a slight mirror exterior treatment.
I noticed Team Sky wearing them, but they were wearing the Air Attack, not the Air Attack Shield. Not sure why, perhaps being paid to wear sunglasses has something to do with it.
I see Bell, which owns Giro, is now marketing a similar one in flat black with red accents.
It also has room for the aluminum foil lining, should you be so motivated.
