[MENTION=358081]Sir_Name[/MENTION] - thanks for the reply. My assumption is that the Superissimo was simply a Super with chrome had lugs. The forks on mine are also chrome along with the CS but not the ST's. My suspicion is that many "models" were based on the the same frame set but with variations of the paint coverage and maybe chrome treatment. I have seen some expamples of Supers without the CS bridge but I don't know if they were the same year or not. Superissimo's are a bit more of a mystery than the more popular Supers. But it may not be a big deal.

I noticed that the rear DO to tube interface is a lot nicer than mine, which are crimped. The fork is fine. When comparing the Superissimo to the Pinarello Monello from 1991, there is a significant difference in detail.
