F end is in the middle of the long strap weaving thru the helmet and both ends coming back together on the M end..

yea they may have molded the helmet around the strap if nothing else Hot. cut the strap somewhere where you can get it sewn back together

a Bar Tack is like a really dense zigzag you may find someone with a sewing machine to make it work again..
