Today was my first official commute in three weeks; I'm back to a normal routine after back-to-back business trips.

My first trip was to Brussels, Belgium, and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take a few extra days to cycle up to Amsterdam. So, I have now witnessed and experienced Amsterdam bicycle commuting, and yes, it's just as amazing as you've heard. (If you're interested, you can read a bit more about my adventure here.) But, I don't live in Amsterdam, I live in Edmonton, and honestly, I have it pretty good here. Except the weather.

Cool commute at 7C, but we're in a heat wave these days, so it'll be hot(ish) for the ride home. I must enjoy these days while they last.
