I like, no make that love, the thrill of finding something and even more if it is something really special. Finding is like getting my next "fix" in the vintage bicycle world...

I truly enjoy learning about each bicycle that I find. By learning, I mean researching the company or builder. I also mean figuring out what would be both period and model correct components for the bicycle when it was originally issued...

Building is the art I practice when refurbishing and/or restoring an old bicycle. Put another way, a barn fresh find and the finished, restored product, both fall into the mechanical art category for me and I really like that...

Riding is always a treat and interesting, to say the least. Interesting in the feel (handling, acceleration and braking) of the bike. Interesting in what did I do right, or more importantly, wrong, during the build...

And, for me, though this would not, probably, count for most others, I really like sharing what I have found, fixed, and ridden with others. Hence, MY "TEN SPEEDS".
