Does any of you dissemble the brake pads for a thorough cleaning at all? How often? I do it occasionally but it's a pain to put them back trying to align the brake pads in perfect position.
I usually wipe the pads clean with a rag by just slipping it between the rims and the pad. I don't know what more cleaning they would need.
Also, get the brake pads that come in holders. That way, if you feel it necessary to pull them off to clean them, you can leave the holder bolted to the brake.
