You might be right. Tough to tell from the pictures. For reference, the notches on an FR-2 are about an inch apart.
I pulled out a set of calipers and measured what I've got. The diameter is between 1" and about 1.2". The notches are around 0.150" wide. I'm not sure how wide they are on an FR-2 tool, but they look to be at least 1/4" or so.
