Since it is the same Palo Alto(?) seller for both, test ride each bike. The one that fits better and rides better is the one you should purchase. Also, if you are a gambling man, perhaps by both for under $1000 and unload the one you don't want to subsidize the cost on the other.

Neither bike should ever be let out of your site, they're both too nice for bike thieves to bypass.
