Considering what happened in New York, here locally there needs to be more emphasis on what side of the trail/road that walkers/runners are supposed to be on. I estimate 80% of those people I encounter are on the wrong side of the trail/road and to make it worse most have ear buds in. They should be facing on coming traffic so to make early eye contact with oncoming riders.
See... not even we can get right what joggers are supposed to be doing on MUPs. What chance do joggers have of figuring it out?
