My first MTB was a GT custom built bike. I was about 12 when the bike was passed down to me. I wasnt even tall enough to ride it. I remember every year on my birthday I would see if I was tall enough to ride it. The bike was unfortunately stolen from me. I look back on it now and think to myself damn I didnt even know what I had at the time. For the life of me I cant remember any of the parts that were on it. Im pretty sure the fact that I didnt know much about bikes at the time had something to do with it. Its funny that Im posting about my ol GT bike I had back in the day because coincidentally I found a GT bike behind a bagel shop in my home town and after I finish restoring the drivetrain on my hardtail mongoose, Im going to build up this GT bike that I found
