I eat Ginger Snaps. Make sure they actually have some ginger in them. There are several benefits. They are good for just getting some substance in your tummy, they give you some carbs and sugar. If your stomach is starting to bother you like mine does sometimes if it is a really hard ride and you are really pushing it the ginger in them helps to sooth an upset stomach. Oh by the way I think they taste good, they are cheap, and you can put a bunch in a baggie in your jersey pocket and they are easy to get at and eat on the fly.
