I know nothing about the hiway in question, and I suspect 99.9+% of posters here also know nothing about that road, or the shoulder. May I remind them that is several western states that cyclist are allowed to ride on the Interstate hiways. And that in most of those state the speed limit is set very high!!!!!

I am from KY, I know the road. You have read posts from Kickstart who actually commutes on these same roads. This selfish, "ME FIRST" advocacy is a failure. Period. There are other more sane and rational ways to get to a desirable outcome. Offending people and inconveniencing them en masse is just not sound policy. This, the club riders who yell at people when they have to un-clip, etc, is the face of bicycling the public remembers right now. You see the outcome of that . . .
