He decided that he wanted to get it painted while I had it apart and he paid over $250 for the Powder Coat & decals after they quoted him a $100 ( he should have walked away ). I didn't want to put all the beat up parts back on it after it came back from paint so it sat around as I started to gather parts for it, then the guy tells me to just keep it for my troubles after a friend gave him a Trek 1000SL in his size, this is what I came up with.

90% of the parts I used came off of a Trek 1000SL that I paid $5 for as it had a bad frame, I first built up my Jetter with the parts but just didn't like it so I striped it for the Europa.

Before as found,it was a 3x7 set up.

After, now a 2x8 set up with STI's, it is set up for a triple minus the crankset ( I didn't have a Road Triple that was for index shifting )

Nice work on the refinishing and decals. I also like the upgraded components, which match the bike. This is far better than converting an otherwise perfectly good bike into a single-speed. Overall, the integrity and purpose is preserved. I am wondering where you got the decals. Were they custom made?
