AFAICT, the local cycling club is more interested in riding for recreation and not for safe transportation. They don't have to find a route between Nicholasville and Lexington. (You can't get there without traveling on 55 mph speed limit roads. The alternatives to US 27 are 2 lane no shoulder roads.) The LAB instructors who have rode the routes with her support her and were expert witnesses testifying on her behalf.
