I know this lady personally. Yes she does have blinkies, they are so bright I almost had a seizure. The shoulders are not perfectly clean, it's KY where there are dead bodies left there for days (exaggerating but you get the idea). The shoulders are viewed as trashbins and KY has been voted 10 of the worst 10 states to drive in by death rates per 100,000 people. She's been arrested all three times in Nicholasville KY on her way into Lexington KY. Lexington is more bike friendly, Nicholasville hates everything but horses. She's actually told me that people in Nicholasville throw rocks at her and cuss her kids out, but it's all peachy peachy once she gets to Lexington where people bike more. That being said I hate biking with cars in Lexington. None of them give you 3 feet, they honk their horns as if it's their only way of communicating and they constantly break the speed limits in residential areas. I bike around campus and it's a warzone everytime I go out. It's weird because some drivers are very courteous here, the rest that aren't make them seem like a dying breed. Then the bikers are dangerous as well with their ipods and complete lack of road law knowledge.
