question about brake pads...
currently running avid shorty ultimate on my cx with narrow stance. also riding with carbon fiber wheelset with brake pads that came with the wheelset.
i dont' ride the brakes but pulse braking is fine up till i'm coming down a 15 degree slope and the shorty doesn't seem to wanna stop.
thinking about switching to a v-brake setup to work with my SRAM Red shifter. read on other forum from old post that Tektro makes some V brakes for BMX that can be used on bikes with road shifter/ brakes.
so here's my two part questions:
1) are there any pads that would work with CF rim without toasting them or damaging the brake track?
2) which tektro V brake can i get that will work with my SRAM RED shifter?
