Well, spare_wheel is bizarrely claiming (paraphrasing) "bicycles are not vehicles because skateboards". That's why he brought them up.

I didn't really claim that absolutely no one does it. It just isn't "lots" or "tons" (that claim is BS). ointing out a handful of examples doesn't establish that "lots" do it.

It's rare. I doubt you "see it all the time" except in a very few places.
The fact that a few people might do so regularly doesn't make it not an unusual/rare form of transportation (and it's obviously unusual/rare, despite people bizarrely claiming "tons" of people do).
