Nope. I was mocking the idea that bikes should be treated the same as motorvehicles. And there is that word again -- vehicle. I view the use of vehicle for anything with a right to the road to be car-centric cognitive dissonance. This society simply cannot conceive of something in the road not being a "vehicle". The term vehicular cyclist is not used in continental/northern europe. There are people opposed to separated infrastructure (particularly in germany) but they don't "drive" their bikes.
To bring this back to the current topic: you don't have to be a VCer to support a right to the road. Ms. Schill has stated that she rides on the shoulder when it's free of obstructions so she is not as fanatical as she is being painted by some. And contrary to comments here and in the media she is not riding her bike for transportation due to DUIs.
