Thanks for the thoughts. I am not unhappy with how my Trek rides, so much as I am unhappy that it always needs something. The rear railer is near the end of it's life, and since I posted the chain snapped. Since it seems to always need some investment, I have been thinking of investing in something new.

I am more or less the most nervous over getting a performance hybrid, since I can be a little hard on the wheels and smaller tires.
