Both thoughts had occurred to me as well.

I have a set of those cranks, if I remember correctly, they use a standard Campy puller.

You have a set of the "new style" Model 99 Stronglight cranks? And you think it takes the Campy puller rather than the Stronglight 23.35 puller? That would be really great news - would you mind checking if you get a chance?
