Sure is nice to have a bike picked right off; must be Calvinistic predestiation at work.
I have the field narrowed to four. I think the '89 smoke/fade Centurion Ironman might offend in it's eighties over-the-topness, what with the zebra-striped bar tape and the vintage Scott aerobars. The '84 Vitus 979 is a contender, as is the lovely little Nishiki Medalist. But also in the mix is the '65 Super Sport, which has been stripped to it's union-made Chi-town frame and is ready for another 49 years on the road.
I have a truck, I just might haul the lot!
