i've never had a problem, but i've
also come to realize that any 'deal's'
on e-bay are rarely any cheaper than
a 'real' online business. In fact, lately,
i've seen stuff for much more on e-bay
than what can be had from many of the
big catalogues when they have sales.
So, if it's too good to be true....
And, if the seller has something people
want and has darn close to perfect
feedback--well, a thousand other
people are going to bid on it too,
so, the chances of getting something
for nothing is quite rare really--except
for scams--those are usually about half
the cost of what the actual item goes for...
What i like about e-bay is the variety, i can
buy stuff that's not easily available elsewhere,
and, no, i'm not necessarily going to get a great
deal, but it may be the only place to find a vintage
this or an unusual color that....
