I enjoy dynamo lights, but when I was using battery lights I would store my bike by an outlet and have all the charging cable hooked up there. Plug them in without removing the lights from my bike at all. When I went to ride, reach down and unplug them, and that was it.

I didn't find the charging cable types to be a problem, but it was annoying to take the lights on and off the bike all the time. So that's how I solved it.
