I recently did a 5 day doorstep to doorstep trip with a friend from Clearwater, FL to Rainbow Springs and back using the Pinellas Trail, Suncoast Trail, and Withlacoochee Trail on the way out and mixed in the Progress Energy and Ream Wilson Trails on the way home. We took different quality roads to connect the trails and sometimes the traffic was outside my partner's comfort zone, but I felt comfortable whether I had a nice shoulder or had to take a lane.
