I was thinking about just converting my Cross Check. However there are a few problems:
1.) Bar End Shifters
2.) Steel Frame is heavy for climbing
3.) Need a new seat, since I have a Brooks Leather saddle, and riding that in winter will destroy it
4.) Also I have on Leather Bar tape which, at $70 a roll, I don't really want to destroy either
5.) Need to change the tires, right now they are 35mm cross tires, rolling resistance is crazy
