That's a very cool frame, especially since you traded it for obsolete electronics!
But I have to ask... what was the problem on the shifters again? If they have a friction mode setting, they should work with just about any derailleurs made in the last 60 years or so, in friction mode. Are they index-mode only? That clunky Tourney derailleur makes no sense at all on this particular bike. I know it works fine (I own one), but it's super heavy and
super ugly.
