is it actually a day-glo orange or something else: like a very bright orange with some pearl in it or a metallic under-coat?
BTW, the Day-Glo Color Corp. company was originally the Switzer Brothers and their work with fluorescent pigments goes back to the 1930s and includes WW2 contracts with the Armed Forces, they officially changed their name to DayGlo in the late '60s...capitalizing on a trademark name that had become a household word.
