I think what everyone misses is that passing a group of riders is a pain. They are an obstruction on the road. If you are out riding on roads, encounters with cars and trucks will happen. Look at yourself in the mirror. So if you saw a bunch of people all dressed like that, "taking the lane", wouldn't you blow smoke at them?
