...the first alloy rim conversion I did was on this one, which is, I think, probably a 60's Sports. It does improve the ride considerably.
I just used some on sale standard 26" MTB rims that were around. If I'm gonna keep and ride one of these bicycles, I always replace the brakes,
so I just looked around for some longer reach ones that happened to be gold. This one has been improved and modified with anti-theft patina.
