Bikes: A bunch of old bikes and a few new ones

I just used some on sale standard 26" MTB rims that were around. If I'm gonna keep and ride one of these bicycles, I always replace the brakes,
so I just looked around for some longer reach ones that happened to be gold. This one has been improved and modified with anti-theft patina.

I like it. MTB rims and tires are easy to find. This seems like a very cool conversion. It probably drops the bb a bit though (559 mm versus 590)? That may not make a big difference though if you can run a bit fatter tire. Is heel strike an issue with mtb rims on an English three speed?
