Looking back I see the pic of my vintage touring bike, a 1975 Peugeot PX 60, has disappeared from when I posted it a couple of years. Also, it has evolved since then so I have a good excuse to post it again

I've carried out one modification since I took this photo last December - the 36T Campagnolo chain wheel has been swapped with a customised 32T Sugino wheel (I had it drilled to fit the 100 BCD of the Campagnolo crank - it was originally 74 BCD).

It works fine but during a trip in Hokkaido in August, 20 kms up to a mountain pass fully laden with camping equipment, I realised the 28T at the back wasn't enough. Next mod - a 34T at the back.
