If you want full hydro, I highly recommend a set of Shimano SLX. If you want cable actuated disc, TRP Spyke is probably the one you want to look at.
Yes, cost is not a big factor. I like a rigid frame for mostly pavement use. I also like Trekking handlebars over drop bars for climbing and descending. The frame fits well. I keep this bike in Italy with a in-law so that I don't have to transport the bike by air. I'll probably buy the parts from a UK vendor and have them shipped to Italy.
