We have that one rider on our Sunday group rides that is consistently 3 ft out in the road. Doesn't matter how many times or how loud you yell "car back" she won't single up. This also presents a problem getting around her when she is slow up a hill or losing the draft. If we do get around her she shifts back up through the crowd at a light and again you have to go all the way to the double yellow to get around.
Could it be she is scared to draft and is riding left to avoid your line? Or just scared of the group if you are not drafting in an organized paceline? In small groups on 4 lane roads I ride to the left of the group but still within the right hand lane. If traffic picks up or we transition to a 2 lane road, I will immediately line up with the rest of the group.
