Kirkland is good stuff, even though it's the house brand!

I'm really concerned about toenail fungus, since once you get it, you may never be able to get rid of it. For that reason, I'm more fastidious about changing my socks daily than about my underwear. Socks are the one thing I'm sure to change every day.

Wool doesn't last as long when you dry it in a clothes dryer. Furthermore, it is less necessary to use a dryer than with cotton, so when I remember, I hang dry my wool stuff. Socks, not so much, unless I'm feeling energetic. Socks with nylon content are a lot more durable than socks without.

I think cotton is the worst material for socks. I discovered long ago that wool is best, but synthetic can be good, too, and this was back when synthetic wasn't as good as it is today.
